Grape Seed Extract

Fun Fact: Astragalus Roots are harvested from four-year-old plants and are the only part of the plant used for medicinal purposes. It is one of the herbs used in fu-zheng therapy as a way to treat illness by boosting the body’s natural defenses and bringing the central energy back to normal. Zinc

As an essential trace mineral, Zinc has antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It plays a key role in adequate wound healing, immune function, blood clotting, thyroid function, maintaining vision and fighting viruses. Those with low zinc levels can experience increased risk of diarrhea and respiratory diseases.

Fun Fact: Zinc is commonly found in red meat, poultry and fish. It is necessary in small amounts for human health, growth and sense of taste and smell. The dark meat of chicken has more zinc than the light meat. Every cell in our body requires zinc to multiply.

Known to help combat allergies, fight inflammation, aide exercise performance, boost mood and immunity… there’s that immunity word again ;) Quercetin is a powerful flavonoid, or plant pigment that scavenges harmful particles in the body known as free radicals, which can wreck havoc on your body.

Fun Fact: Quercetin is a natural pigment responsible for the bright colors in many fruits, vegetables and grains and is one of the most abundant antioxidants in a diet.

This tiny powerhouse is a vitamin your body can’t produce and therefore must be obtained through diet or supplementation.
Vital in helping your body absorb and store iron, as well as forming blood vessels, cartilage, muscle and collagen in bones, Vitamin C is essential in your body’s ability to heal effectively.
It helps protect your cells against the effects of free radicals - molecules produced when your body breaks down food, is exposed to radiation from the sun, tobacco smoke, X-rays or other sources. Free radicals can play a role in heart disease, cancer and other diseases.

Fun Fact: According to Webmd, you'd have to consume almost 6 oranges a day to get the same amount of vitamin C as Immune Balance provides.

Vitamin D3

Tagged as the ‘Sunshine Vitamin’ due to the bodies production of it when exposed to sunlight. Vitamin D3 plays a key role in building and keeping strong bones and teeth, has been shown to play a role in producing serotonin (which regulates mood and sleep) and increases the immune cells’ production of microbe-fighting proteins…. which, you guessed, helps boost your immune response.

Fun Fact: D3 is more potent and more easily absorbed than D2. Age and skin tone can affect how much Vitamin D3 your body can absorb from the sun, making supplementation a great option. You’d need to eat over 16 eggs to get your recommended daily dose.
